With over 40 years of clinical experience and specialized training as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Charles D. Glass, Ph.D. has dedicated his professional career to the assessment and treatment of the full spectrum of Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress, and Other Trauma & Stress-Related Conditions.

Charles D. Glass, Ph.D. finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and graduated with Cum Laude honors from Boston University. He then went on to complete his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at New School for Social Research in New York City and his Ph.D. at the United States International University in San Diego, CA, respectively.

Dr. Glass is licensed by the Colorado Board of Psychologist Examiners, the New Mexico Psychologist Examiners Board, and the Connecticut Board of Examiners of Psychologists. His previous workplace training and licensure experience includes the following:

  • Manhattan Psychiatric Center – New York City
  • Jewish Board of Guardians – New York City
  • California Department of Mental Health – San Diego and El Dorado Counties
  • Veterans Administration Hospital – Sacramento, California
  • Bristol Hospital – Bristol, CT (Chief Psychologist)

  • Austin Riggs Psychiatric Center – Stockbridge, MA

Throughout his years of professional experience, he has served as a clinical consultant to various physicians, state and federal agencies, private industry, and academic institutions, and as a forensic consultation to attorneys and insurance companies.

Staying true to his craft, Dr. Glass continues to stay updated on the latest developments within the field by attending multiple professional conferences and seminars and holds memberships in the International OCD Foundation, the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, the American Psychological Association, and the PTSD Foundation of America.

Dr. Charles D. Glass founded the Colorado Anxiety Treatment Center. He has dedicated his professional life to treating Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders. Dr. Glass has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He has over 40 years of professional experience and specialized training in the assessment and treatment of individuals with Anxiety and Related Disorders that range in severity from mild to severe and complex.

Dr. Glass received his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology in 1982 from the United States International University (currently known as Alliant International University). He received his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology in 1978 from The New School for Social Research and his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1976 from Boston University. For ongoing professional development as a clinical psychologist, Dr. Glass maintains membership with numerous professional organizations. To remain current with the most recent research and treatment developments, Dr. Glass attends multiple professional conferences and seminars every year.
