Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is a problem-focused treatment approach that refers to a group of interconnected techniques based on the recognition that thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors are interrelated and affect one another.

CBT provides tools and techniques that enable positive changes among the four elements and promotes emotional and behavioral resilience.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy refers to a group of interconnected treatment techniques based on the recognition that much of what we feel emotionally and what we do behaviorally is determined by what and how we think.

The goal of CBT is to help people recognize negative and unproductive thoughts and learn how to replace them with more positive, productive, and logical thoughts.

CBT teaches people that monitoring their thoughts provides opportunities to reframe them so that they can feel less anxious and/or depressed, and more emotionally resilient.
